It will take approximately 6-8 weeks to receive your test results.  You will be notified by mail when your results are ready.  Once you receive notice, you must come in person to the GED office with your driver’s license and sign for your diploma.  Results cannot be given over the phone.

If you are unable to pick up your diploma in person, you must assign, in writing, a designee authorizing he/she to pick up your diploma on your behalf. You must state the reason you are unable to receive it in person and sign and date the request.

A standard score of 410 or above on each of the five subtests and an overall score of 2250 must be obtained in order to receive a State of Florida High School Diploma from the Department of Education.
